Accessibility Statement
Last updated 4 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-04.2
DetailersEye wants everyone, detailers and their customers alike, to be able to use this service, including people who rely on a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or high-contrast settings.
How accessible this service is
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This service is partially conformant: most of it meets the standard, but some parts do not yet. We have not had an independent audit, so this is our own assessment. It covers the DetailersEye website, the detailer app and the customer booking and portal pages.
What works well
- Pages use a logical heading structure and can be navigated by keyboard.
- Forms use standard fields with visible labels and are operable without a mouse.
- The layout adapts to small screens and to zoom up to 200% without loss of content.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives.
- Nothing flashes. The homepage has a muted background video, which has a pause button and is replaced by a still image if your device is set to reduce motion.
Known limitations
We are aware of, and working on, the following:
- A few buttons that show only an icon may not announce a clear name to screen readers.
- Some pop-up dialogs (for example the full-screen booking QR code and confirmation prompts) do not yet trap focus or close reliably with the Esc key.
- The service has not been tested end-to-end with assistive technology.
Content we do not control
Some parts are provided by other companies and follow their accessibility, not ours: the Stripe payment page, the Cloudflare bot-check widget, maps, and the sign-in screens for Google and Calendly. If one of these stops you from completing a task, tell us and we will help you another way, for example by taking a booking or payment by other means through the detailer.
Reporting a problem
If you find something you cannot use, or you need information in a different format, email support@detailerseye.com. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do and the assistive technology you were using. We aim to reply within five working days and to fix genuine barriers as quickly as we reasonably can. We will make reasonable adjustments where the law requires us to.
If you are not satisfied
If you are unhappy with our response, in the UK you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) at equalityadvisoryservice.com.
